Exhaustion already???
Oh dear me, only the second of November and I'm already tired. I've had CNN on for most of the day, and it's to the point where I can predict which clip comes next. Perhaps I should turn it off?
But such a feeling of virtue...I voted 3 weeks ago through an absentee-voting event that the American Consulate held. Hopefully my vote will be counted!
On the NaNo front, started scribbling today. I've had the plot dancing in circles in my head for months, but didn't actually start putting words on paper until today. Word count: 2452 on paper, and lots more in my head! I'm working on getting it on-line. Bear with me, please.
And now, off to make a pot of coffee. For some strange reason, I've decided that the cats and I are staying up overnight to watch the returns come in on CNN. Whether it's so that I can celebrate as soon as possible, or so that I don't have to lie in bed all night wondering, I'm not entirely sure. The cats, being French cats and having no idea what's going on, don't give a hoot what I do as long as it doesn't keep them from getting their beauty sleep.
And meanwhile, my poor wire-strung harp sits in the corner and waits patiently for me to get around to it. Guess I'd better get to it soon, with a harp lesson on Sunday!
